Counter-terrorism

Our team supports counter-terrorism awareness and public health guidance.

Further information about counter-terrorism measures can be found in documents published by the Highland Council.

These documents aim to support awareness and good practice in counter‑terrorism and cyber security by:

  • providing practical guidance to help organisations, communities and individuals understand the risks associated with terrorism and cyber crime
  • promoting proportionate, preventative measures to reduce vulnerability to physical and digital threats
  • supporting preparedness, resilience and effective response through improved awareness and early action
