Contact the emergency social work service
We provide a limited social work service to help with urgent social problems as follows:
- serious child protection and welfare concerns
- if urgent help is needed to prevent family breakdown
- if older people are at risk
- if people with learning disability, mental health problems or physical disabilities are in need of urgent assistance
Assessment visits may be made if needed but the most urgent cases will be prioritised.

- Weekdays: 5pm - 9am
- Weekends and public holidays: 24 hours
