Are you a young carer?
Young Carers are children and young people who provide emotional and practical support to someone living with a long-term health condition, disability, mental ill-health, or issues related to substance use. This is often a parent, sibling, or close family member they live with. Their caring role can include anything from helping with daily tasks to offering comfort and emotional support.
Connecting Carers
The Connecting Carers Young Carer team works to ensure Young Carers are recognised, valued, and supported. We help children and young people access the advice, resources, and services they need to manage their caring role while still enjoying their childhood and reaching their full potential.
The Young Carers supported are aged from 5 to 18.
