A Special Meeting of the Highland Council will take place in the Council Chamber, Council Headquarters, Glenurquhart Road, Inverness on Thursday, 30 October 2014 at 12.30pm (or following the preceding Council meeting – whichever is the later).

3. Burial Ground Extensions

There is circulated Report No. HC/35/14 dated 17 October 2014 by the Head of Corporate Governance which invites the Council to resolve to provide for the extension of the existing Burial Grounds at Nairn, Fodderty, Tain, Portree, Acharacle and Kilvean.

The Council is asked to agree to provide the above Burial Ground extensions as listed in the report under Section 9 of the Burial Grounds (Scotland) Act 1855, as amended.
