A meeting of the North Planning Applications Committee will take place in the Council Chamber, Council Headquarters, Glenurquhart Road, Inverness on Tuesday, 13 June 2017 at 10.30 am.

There is circulated Report No PLN/032/17 (Plans pp 1 – 3) by the Head of Planning and Building Standards, which provides an update on progress of all cases within the ‘Major’ development category currently with the Planning and Development Service for determination and identifies those proposed applications which have Proposal of Application Notice (PAN). The report also details progress on proposals submitted under S36 or S37 of the Electricity Act 1989 on which the Council is consulted.

The Committee is invited to note the current position with these applications.

The Committee is invited to note that the appeal to the Scottish Government’s Planning and Environmental Appeals Division has been dismissed and planning permission refused.

Location: Stoer Church, 75 m East of 162 Stoer, Lochinver, IV27 4JD
Nature of Development: Restoration and conversion of disused church to residential, installation of septic tank and soakaway.

The Committee is invited to note that the appeal to the Scottish Government’s Planning and Environmental Appeals Division  has been dismissed and listed building consent refused.  The claim for expenses against The Highland Council by Mr Guy Morgan, has been declined.
