Members are asked to consider whether they have an interest to declare in relation to any item on the agenda for this meeting.  Any Member making a declaration of interest should indicate whether it is a financial or non-financial interest and include some information on the nature of the interest.  Advice may be sought from officers prior to the meeting taking place.

3.    Location Action Plans for Visitor Management

There is circulated TC/01/22 dated 2 February 2022 by the Executive Chief Officer - Infrastructure, Environment and Economy.

The Committee is asked to:

i.    approve the final draft of the four Location Action Plans;
ii.    agree that these areas are to be priorities for action and any activities that need an immediate solution; and 
iii.    agree that further Location Actions Plans are produced for other ‘hotspot’ areas identified in the Strategic Tourism Development Plan
    
4.    Visitor Management Plan 2021

There is circulated TC/02/22 dated 2 February 2022 by the Executive Chief Officer - Infrastructure, Environment and Economy.

The Committee is asked to note the information provided by each Service on progress in delivering the 2021 Visitor Management Plan actions and associated budget spend as detailed in Appendix 1.
    
5.    Tourism Infrastructure

There is circulated TC/03/22 dated 31 January 2022 by the Executive Chief Officer - Infrastructure, Environment and Economy.

The Committee is asked to note:

i.    the current position with the Highland Rural Tourism Infrastructure Fund supported projects;
ii.    the results of the bids to the 4th funding round of Rural Tourism Infrastructure Fund that were announced in January 2022;
iii.    that a Strategic Tourism Infrastructure Development Plan as included as an appendix to this report was submitted to VisitScotland in early February 2022; and
iv.    the future process proposed to allow delivery of a number of the actions detailed in the Strategic Tourism Infrastructure Development Plan.
