Members are asked to consider whether they have an interest to declare in relation to any item on the agenda for this meeting.  Any Member making a declaration of interest should provide some information on the nature of the interest and leave the meeting at the appropriate time.  Advice may be sought from officers prior to the meeting taking place.

3. Placed Based Investment Programme

There is circulated Report No. CIA/16/22 dated 24 February 2022 by the Executive Chief Officer Infrastructure, Environment & Economy.

The Committee is invited to:-

i.   agree to investing £79,000 in the Victorian Market, Market Hall and Fish Market refurbishment project; and
ii.  agree to investing £335,499 in the Inverness Campus Sports Development project; and consider the applications submitted and agree which projects are to be offered a Place Based Investment Programme grant in line with the recommendations set out at Section 8 of the report.  

This recommends allocating funds to the following projects, up to the total of £225,934:-
a. Glen Urquhart Public Hall (Glen Urquhart Rural Community Association) £45,000;
b. Inshes Wheeled Sports Park (Inshes Community Association) £93,191;
c. Crown Church – a community resource (Church of Scotland) £74,343; and
d. Ardersier Outdoor Gym (Ardersier Community Hub) £13,400.
