5. Training Policy and Training Plan 2026/27

The Committee is asked to consider this report and note the following:
i. training delivered and attendance in 2025/26 (section 10 and Appendix 5)
ii. agree the training programme for 2026/27 (section 11).
6. Risk Management Update October, 2026

The Committee is invited to:-
i. to note the updated risk register extract (Appendix 1);

7. Actuarial Valuation Update

Members are invited to note the background context provided in the report and the presentation to be provided by the Fund Actuary.
An update on the Pension Fund’s triennial actuarial valuation will be provided by Mr R Notman, Hymans Robertson.
8. Funding Strategy Statement

There is circulated Report No. PC/16/26 by the Chief Officer Corporate Finance. Mr Reece Notman and Ms Amy McAlister of Hymans Robertson, the Fund Actuary will also be in attendance.
Members are invited to approve the Funding Strategy Statement to be circulated to Employers for consultation.
9. Investment Sub Committee Membership

The Committee is asked to agree that Mr D McDonald replaces Mr A Mackintosh on the Investment Sub Committee.
