The Highland Council is pleased to have secured a bus service to be operated by Shiel Buses between Strontian, Ardgour and Camusnagaul to connect with the passenger ferries across Loch Linnhe.

Bus times are designed to connect with the Kinlochleven – Fort William buses at Nether Lochaber.

The service will operate on Mondays to Fridays, commencing on Tuesday 9 May.

The feasibility of a Saturday service is being examined.

Lochaber councillor, Sarah Fanet, Chair of the Corran Ferry Steering Group, welcomed the news of this bus service which she sees as an essential additional measure to mitigate against the absence of a ferry service for vehicles.
