A boost for the Highland Hospice as Council staff raise funds
Staff from The Highland Council paid a visit to the Highland Hospice on Friday to hand over money raised during a special seasonal fund-raising day.
On Thursday in the Council Headquarters in Inverness, staff held a big Christmas bake sale, selling a colourful array of tasty treats. They also held a charity raffle with lots of generously donated prizes to win. Donations were also made by those who had opted to bring a bit of sparkle to the event by wearing a Christmas jumper.
Thanks to their efforts £1, 524 was raised. After receiving the generous donation, the Highland Hospice thanked big-hearted staff and Council members for their incredible support.
