“The Highland Council, as part of its commitment to meeting the Highland Housing Challenge, will continue to work collaboratively alongside partners to build a portfolio of housing stock to enable people to have viable options available to them. New housing can have a transformational impact for people and place, and I wish all the tenant every happiness in their new homes.”

Managing Director of Compass Building & Construction Services, Thom MacLeod said: “We are delighted to complete handover here at Teandallon, Evanton. It’s a significant build project for us as it marks our 1000 affordable house build in Highland. There is however a far bigger picture here in terms of what this achievement represents as it is so much more than bricks and mortar, sitting behind this are significant socio-economic factors that include organically developing our own Highland workforce, community engagement, supporting charities and levelling-up initiatives,  job creation and partnership projects to meet the Highland Housing Challenge whilst fulfilling the needs of local employers, and most rewarding of all is providing homes for people to prosper and grow.”
