Caol Primary and St. Columba’s RC Primary School Nursery merge

Scottish Ministers have notified The Highland Council that the Council can proceed with its decision to merge the nursery classes at Caol Primary School and St. Columba’s RC Primary School.  This follows a decision taken by the Council on 26 June 2025.

The schools share a campus and the nursery class at St. Columba’s is already mothballed.  Staff will ensure that the new merged nursery operates to the benefits of all the children attending the campus, and in the interests of both schools.
