Skye and Lochalsh employment drop-in sessions

A range of Work. Life. Highland partners will be holding a series of local drop-in sessions across Skye and Lochalsh.
Education Committee chair, Cllr John Finlayson said: “Staff from several support organisations will be on hand at these informal sessions to provide help and advice on how to potentially raise household incomes via employment and to ensure that people are accessing the benefits they are entitled to. Information will also be available about current vacancies in the local area, including input from NHS Highland recruitment staff.”
Cllr Finlayson added: “Even if you are unable to come along on the day, I would encourage anyone looking for employment support to visit: worklifehighland.co.uk and get in touch with the team.”
The sessions start in Minginish Community Hall between 4pm and 6pm on Tuesday 28 October, followed by 3 sessions on Wednesday 29 October starting at the DCF Community Church, Dunvegan between 10am and 12 noon, Uig Community Hall between 1 and 3pm and Talla Stafainn between 4 and 6pm. They conclude in Kyle Village Hall between 11am and 1pm on Thursday 30 October 2025.
