Skye & Raasay (as at 08:25)
Road surface temperatures below zero. Some additional snow showers through the night on South Skye routes with icy patches elsewhere and on 'other' routes that remain untreated. Treatment currently ongoing on Primary & Secondary routes.
Ross & Cromarty East (as at 08:16)
Negative road surface temperatures across the network, light dusting of fresh snow across higher routes this morning, down to lower routes in East Ross. All roads and footways being treated this morning as resources permit. No overnight issues reported.
Sutherland (as at 08:03)
All areas affected by snow cover up to 150mm on the highest routes. All routes currently being bladed as necessary and treated in order of priority. No known issues.
Caithness (as at 06:33)
Snow flurries and road surface temperatures below zero on all routs. Roads being treated where required. No other overnight issues to report.
Nairn (as at 06:26)
Fresh snow on the higher routes overnight. All routes being treated with priority given to Primary and Secondary routes before others. No known overnight issues.
Badenoch & Strathspey (as at 06:23)
Fresh snow across the area overnight. Drifting snow affecting the moor roads like the Dava and Bridge of Brown. All routes being treated this morning with priority given to the Primary and Secondary routes before getting to others. No known overnight issues.
Ward 5 Ross and Cromarty (as at 06:41)
Fresh snow overnight with sub-zero road surface temperatures predicted later tonight. All Routes launched. No overnight issues reported.
