‘Following Scottish Careers Week - 17–21 November 2025’

The Highland Council’s Employability Team is pleased to announce the return of its Highland wide Virtual Jobs Fair, running from Monday 17 to Friday 21 November 2025, immediately following Scottish Careers Week.

Delivered in partnership through the Local Employability Partnership, the event brings together:

  • The Highland Council
  • Skills Development Scotland
  • Highlands and Islands Enterprise
  • Department for Work and Pensions
  • Developing the Young Workforce
  • UHI North West and Hebrides
  • NHS Highland

Economy and Infrastructure Committee Chair, Councillor Ken Gowans, said: “Following the success of previous virtual job fairs, this Highland virtual jobs fair provides a fantastic platform to showcase the wide range of opportunities available for people to develop and learn new skills in employment. Employers will be on hand to answer questions and explain the training pathways and development options they offer.”

“By hosting the event online, we’re making it easier for people to attend without the need to travel. The sessions are designed to be flexible, allowing attendees to drop in and out throughout the week. It’s accessible to everyone, regardless of location or circumstances, and directly connects potential employees with employers.”

This week-long online event is designed to connect job seekers with employers across the region. Whether you're exploring new career paths, returning to work after a break, or seeking your first job, you can join live sessions from the comfort of your own home.

Employers will host interactive sessions to share information about full-time and part-time roles, apprenticeship schemes, and seasonal or year-round opportunities. Attendees will have the chance to ask questions and learn more about training and upskilling options.

The Highland Council’s Employability Team will also be available throughout the week to provide support to attendees.
