Corran Ferry fares increase from 1 May 2026

Corran Ferry fares will increase from Friday 1 May 2026 following the approval of The Highland Council fees and charges at the special meeting of The Highland Council held on Thursday 5 March 2026 to agree the Medium Term Financial Plan 2026/27 to 2028/29, Revenue Budget and Council Tax 2026/27

 Fare increases are as follows:

  • Private and light goods vehicles, drive-up fare for cars will rise by £1.00 from £12.00 to £13.00.
  • Minibuses up to 16 seats and caravanettes will rise by £1.50 from £16.50 to £18.00. 
  • Motorbikes will rise by 50p from £5.50 to £6.00.
  • The new cost of a multi-journey book of 30 tickets will rise by £7.50 to £96.00 (was £88.50, equating to a rise of 25p per journey from £2.95 to £3.20).
  • Commercial fares including artic vehicles by £5.00 to £62.00 from £57.00 and bus/coach (36 seats & over) a rise of £3.00, £35.00 from £32.00.
