Apply for a disabled parking bay
A disabled parking bay is a marked space on the road to help people with disabilities park closer to their home.
We will try to put the bay outside or near your house, but we also need to make sure it’s safe for everyone.
Who can apply
You can ask for a disabled parking bay if:
- you or someone in your home has a Blue Badge
- you or that person owns or regularly uses a car
- the car is kept at your address
How to apply
You can:
- complete an application form
- visit your local Service Point
- call our Service Centre on 01349 886604
Using a disabled parking bay
You must display your Blue Badge in the car. If you do not show your badge, you could get a fine.
Anyone with a Blue Badge will be able to use the space - it is not just for you.
