Pay for a service

Terms and conditions

All payments made Monday to Thursday before 4:30pm will be credited to your account overnight. Payments made after the 4.30pm deadline will be credited the next day after 4:30pm. Payments made between Friday 4:30pm and Sunday 4:30pm will be credited overnight for Monday.

Invoices

If you purchase an item costing less than £12.50 that requires payment by card, or if it’s a regular purchase, we will ask you to set up a direct debit. Wherever possible, we encourage payment by card, which can be done online, over the phone, or in person through our Service Point network.

For regular payments, we can assist you in setting up a direct debit. If you choose to pay through invoice instead of alternative methods offered, a £15 surcharge will be applied to cover administration costs.

Our customers have 30 days to pay invoices. From 1 April 2019 onwards, business customers receiving invoices are also subject to additional charges for late payment. These include a fixed penalty—set by the Scottish Government—ranging from £40 to £100, depending on the amount owed. Additionally, interest will accrue daily on overdue balances until they are paid in full.
