Guidance for creating a bonfire
There are no laws against having a garden bonfire. However, we encourage you to compost or recycle your waste instead of burning it.
If you do have a bonfire:
- only burn dry garden waste
- do not burn household rubbish
- do not burn rubber or plastic
- do not use fuel to start or boost the fire
