Proposed future control areas
The Economy and Infrastructure Committee agreed in February 2026 to consult with the public on designating two further Short Term Let Control Areas (STLCAs).
A formal public consultation must be held on the details of the proposed Short Term Let Control Areas to get views from the residents, businesses and communities about the proposal. The responses will be reported back to the Economy and Infrastructure Committee to consider.
Proposed control areas
The following proposed control areas will be open for consultation from 12 May 2026 until 23 June 2026. More information will be made available in due course.
