How to make an objection or representation
You can object to or comment on a short-term let licence application if you have concerns about the proposed let.
If you wish to report that a licensed property is not complying with the licence conditions, you can do so by reporting this to our Environmental Health short term let team.
Their email address is EHSTL@highland.gov.uk and they can investigate such reports further.
We cannot investigate complaints about the quality of a guest’s stay or contractual issues between guests and hosts. These are outside the scope of the licensing scheme.
Planning permission and licensing
Planning and licensing are separate processes.
If you want to object to a planning application for a short-term let, you must contact the Planning team directly.
