Description
If you are on a low income, you can apply for a one-off payment from The Highland Council’s City of Inverness Area Committee winter payments scheme to help you with your winter fuel bills.
The Scheme will run from 1 December 2025 to 31 March 2026.

Who can claim
The Inverness Winter Payment Scheme extends to people who live in:- Aird and Loch Ness
- Culloden and Ardersier
- Inverness Central
- Inverness Millburn
- Inverness Ness-side
- Inverness South
- Inverness West
If you live in one of these areas and believe you may be eligible, you are invited to apply for a payment as soon as possible, and no later than 31 March 2026.
