Your tenancy agreement
Your tenancy agreement is a legal contract between you and Highland Council. It sets out your rights and responsibilities as a tenant.
You will be given a copy of your tenancy agreement when you move in. A Housing Officer will go through it with you to make sure you understand it.
If you have lost your tenancy agreement, contact your Housing Officer and we will send you a copy.
The Empty Homes Standard document will give you an idea of what standard to expect when you move in to your new council home.
