Any death which happens in Scotland must be registered within 8 days. You can do this with any Registration Office in Scotland.
We will, where possible, arrange a telephone appointment for you. You will not need to attend the office in person.
Before we make an appointment, the Medical Certificate of Cause of Death (Form 11) must have been issued by the certifying doctor by email to the registration office.
