How we are performing
We aim to provide a helpful, efficient and consistent building standards service. We measure our performance to make sure we are meeting national standards and improving over time.
What you can expect
We aim to:
- respond to most building warrant applications within 20 working days
- respond to completion certificate submissions within 10 working days
- issue a building warrant within 6 working days once we receive all the correct plans
These are our key performance indicators (KPIs), which we report monthly.
National reporting
We also submit quarterly and annual performance reports to the Scottish Government. These reports show how we are meeting national targets and improving our service.
