Support for Renewable Energy
Highland Council remains supportive of renewable energy development, recognising its contribution to national energy supply and the local economy through skills and employment. The policy does not discriminate against the renewables industry and is unlikely to impede development, as many developers already support the £5,000 per MW standard.
