What happens next
We will:
- send you a reference number
- check your documents
- assess your application
- let you know the decision
If successful, we agree payment and monitoring arrangements. If not, we explain why.
Conditions of funding
You must:
- use the funding for the purpose agreed
- return any unused money
- keep records for at least 3 years
- meet legal and safety requirements
- get planning permission if needed
- follow child protection and equal opportunities policies
We may inspect your records. We may withdraw funding if you break the rules.
Appeals process
If you disagree with a decision not to award a grant, you can appeal. If you are assessed as not being eligible for the grant, we will write to you explaining the reason why. If you think the wrong decision has been made, you will be able to explain why you believe your business is eligible for the grant.
If you receive a rejection email, it will detail how you can submit your appeal to us.
