View or request valuation and council tax data
You can inspect or request copies of the following public records for the Highland Council and Comhairle nan Eilean Siar areas:
- valuation roll
- council tax list
- electoral register
You can also request extracts or copies of these records. Some services are free, while others have a charge.
What you can access
Valuation roll
The valuation roll lists non-domestic properties and their rateable values.
Council tax list
The council tax list shows domestic properties and their council tax bands.
Electoral register
There are two versions of the electoral register:
- full register – used for elections and only available to certain organisations
- open register – available for general sale and not used for elections
Charges for the open register
You can buy the open register at the following rates:
- electronic copy: £20 plus £1.50 per 1,000 (or part 1,000) names
- printed copy: £10 plus £5 per 1,000 (or part 1,000) names
