About our wards
There are 21 council wards in the Highlands. Wards help us organise local services, support communities, and elect councillors.
What wards do
Wards are local areas we use to
- elect councillors
- plan and deliver services
- work with communities
- share information about local issues
You can read more about ward boundaries on the Boundaries Scotland website.
