After the closing date
Once bidding closes:
- we shortlist all bids
- the property is offered to the person with the greatest housing need
- if there is a tie, it goes to the person who applied first
If you want to withdraw a bid, email choicebasedlettings@highland.gov.uk.
If you are successful
You will receive an offer letter with a deadline, usually 2 days.

If you refuse an offer
If you refuse one reasonable offer, your application will be suspended for 6 months. If you have homeless points, you may lose them.
Only bid on properties you are willing to accept.
