Ring Cameras installed at Depots - Privacy notices

Purpose
Ring Cameras installed at Depots - Ullapool Depot
Description

Ring Cameras are being installed at Ullapool Depot to improve security, deter/vandalism, and record evidence of health and safety incidents. These cameras will take record video and images of vehicles, registration numbers, and individuals in external parts of the depots.

The Ring cameras will monitor external areas of Ullapool Depot. They may capture video footage and images of individuals, vehicles and vehicle registration numbers within the cameras’ field of view.

The footage will be used for security purposes, to investigate incidents, support health and safety investigations and, where necessary, assist with the prevention and investigation of suspected criminal activity.

Access to recorded footage will be restricted to authorised personnel and any sharing of footage will be limited to circumstances where there is a legitimate and lawful reason to do so.

If you do not give us your information

The collection of information through the Ring cameras does not require you to provide information directly. However, if you visit or work in areas covered by the cameras, your image, vehicle and vehicle registration number may be captured as part of routine site monitoring.
