How to claim

This guidance explains how you can apply for the Inverness Winter Payment Scheme. The scheme offers a one-off payment to help people on low incomes with their winter fuel bills. It is funded by the Inverness Common Good Fund and is available to eligible residents living in the seven Inverness wards.

You may be able to get a payment if you meet certain criteria, such as being on a low income, receiving specific benefits, or being aged 90 or over. Only one application per household is allowed.
