You will need:
- a credit or debit card
- to have read the guidance notes
- layout or plan of premises for uploading
- public liability for uploading
The application fee for a skin piercing & tattooing licence is £660.00 (for a 3 year licence)
The application fee for a temporary skin piercing & tattooing licence is £330.00 (A temporary licence is valid for a maximum of 6 weeks)
The application fee for an additional premises is £156.00. This applies only where you currenly hold a skin piercing & tattooing dealers licence and are applying for another premises in addition to this.

Fire safety
You must complete a fire safety checklist and send it to us at licensing@highland.gov.uk before we can process your license application.
When we receive the fire safety form, we know your premises are safe for your customers and staff, and that you have complied with the fire safety regulations.View fire safety checklist for permanent structures
Guidance on making an objection or representation in relation to an application submitted
If you wish to submit an objection or representation in relation to an application submitted under the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982. Further information and guidance on how to do this is available to download.
