Grant types and the payment schedule
Restrictions vs. Closure Grant
- If your business was restricted by law, you qualify for the restrictions grant.
- If your business was required to close, you qualify for the closure grant.
Automatic transition from restriction to closure
If you previously applied for the Business Restrictions Fund and your business is now required to close, you do not need to reapply. You will automatically receive a closure payment. The first payment is expected at the end of January.
Ongoing payments
Once your initial application is approved, you do not need to reapply every four weeks. Payments will be made automatically every four weeks for the duration of the restrictions.
