Paediatric Occupational Therapy
Our Paediatric Occupational Therapy service is based at The Pines, Drummond Road, Inverness.
We help children and young people participate in everyday life to improve their health, wellbeing, and independence. This includes support with:
- self-care - such as getting dressed, eating meals, using cutlery, or going to the toilet
- productivity - including attending school, developing fine motor skills, completing tasks, and joining in group activities
- engagement - participating in play, leisure, and the wider environment
We also work closely with families and professionals to assess for equipment needs, environmental adaptations, and safety at home, school, and in the community.
Support may be provided through:
- workshops and group sessions
- consultations with families and professionals
- direct intervention with the child or young person and their support network
Together, we create personalised plans that reflect each child’s unique needs, goals, and daily routines.
