  Following the high winds forecast and experienced due to Storm Boelo, The Highland Council is encouraging landowners to check trees and vegetation near to public roads which may have been damaged.

  Police travel advice has been issued following an amber weather warning for high winds across the majority of Scotland.

• Communities advised to stay safe and prepare for potential impacts of Storm Boelo

  The Met Office has issued an Amber weather warning (Saturday 24 October and Sunday 25 October), which may affect exposed coastal areas; initially western Scotland spreading eastwards through Sunday.
