Safety reminder
For your safety, never stand on the road to take a photograph of a fault or to measure a pothhole. Always use common sense and be aware of your surroundings - you are responsible for your own safety.
What happens after you report an issue to us
Once we receive your report, it is logged in our system. Depending on the type of issue and the level of risk it poses, an inspector may be sent to assess the site. The timescale for this will vary based on the type of asset, the severity of the defect, and the potential risk to public safety.
In some cases, we may add the issue directly to a scheduled maintenance programme without a separate inspection.
How we prioritise repairs
All reported issues are assessed and prioritised according to how hazardous they are. This helps us focus on the most urgent repairs first.
Some problems may need to be included in future maintenance plans or require specialist contractors, which can take longer to resolve.
