If a problem with a road, flooding, bridge or street light is an immediate danger to public safety, contact us:

Examples of emergency issues include:

  • bridge or other structure collapse
  • vehicle strikes to a bridge, retaining wall or culvert headwall
  • fallen power or telephone lines
  • flooding on high-speed roads or locations where there are safety issues
  • flooding where there is a risk to property
  • fuel spillage on major routes and high-traffic urban roads
  • gully or manhole cover missing or damaged
  • road debris, for example, rock or other significant hazard
  • rockfall or landslips
  • subsidence
  • tree or branches down
  • damaged or fallen signs obstructing the carrigeway, footway or cycleway
  • damaged signs or bollards likely to cause injury to pedestrians or other road users
  • damaged or fallen barriers obstructing the carrigeway, footway or cycleway
  • damaged barriers likely to cause injury to pedestrians or other road users
