Book a bulky uplift

Before you book

Before booking a bulky uplift, think about reuse. You may be able to donate items to local charities. This helps reduce waste and supports people in need.

Some charities can collect items from your home free of charge:

Cost

£30 for up to three items or £60 for up to six items.

For example:

  • a sofa and two chairs
  • a bed consists of the base with headboard and mattress, so counts as two items

Important terms and conditions

  • We collect items from the kerbside only - we cannot collect from inside your home, garden, or driveway
  • Items must be placed at your usual bin collection point by 7am on the day of collection
  • If you receive assisted collections, leave items next to your bin or as close as possible
  • Upholstered furniture that is damaged or torn must be covered and sealed with tape

How to book

  1. Check which items we can collect.
  2. Complete the online form.
  3. Pay the fee.
  4. Put your items out by 7am on the scheduled day.
