Inner Moray Firth Local Development Plan
We have started to review this plan. By understanding how effective it has been in supporting delivery of new homes, infrastructure and employment land uses, we can determine how it should be updated.
We'll offer people the chance to suggest areas they think should be considered for new development needed in the area. This "Call for Sites" stage is expected to start in late Spring or early Summer 2019. We'll publish our preferred approach from this consultation in Winter 2019. This is called the "Main Issues Report" stage. Read more about the plan making process here.
The Adopted Inner Moray Firth Local Development Plan (IMF LDP) sets out the policies and land allocations to guide development in the Inner Moray Firth area over the next 20 years.
The plan must be read along with the Highland-wide Local Development Plan.
The IMF LDP Delivery Programme sets out the infrastructure and development required to support the implementation of the Inner Moray Firth Local Development Plan (IMF LDP).
