Carbon management plan
The Carbon management plan sets out our plan to reduce carbon emissions by at least 3 per cent a year between 2013 and 2020. As well as reducing carbon emissions, delivering the aims of the plan will also help avoid price increases for electricity and other fuels.
The plan focuses on carbon emissions from:
- Energy use in buildings
- Our fleet of vehicles
- Business travel
- Street lighting
- Internal waste
- Water
- Emissions arising from procurement
