You can pay for school meals online or through your child's school.
Pay online
The online payment method option available to you depends on your child's school:
- if the school has provided a Unique Reference Number (URN), use this to pay online. A URN is a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters and numbers that ends with '('
- if you have not been given a URN, use your child's Scottish Candidate Number (SCN) instead. An SCN is made up of 9 numbers only
Pay using your child's Unique Reference Number (URN)
Use your child's Unique Reference Number (URN) to pay with iPayimpact.
iPayimpact allows you to view your account statement, payment history and check when payments need to be made.
Pay using a Scottish Candidate Number (SCN)
Use your child's Scottish Candidate Number (SCN) to pay online.
Online balance information is not available for payments made using SCN.
Pay an invoice
If you have received an invoice for outstanding school meal charges, you can make payments online.
Paying by cash or cheque
Cash and cheque payments can be made through your child's school.
Cheques should be made payable to The Highland Council.
Secondary school pupils can use the revaluation unit located within their school to add cash to their meal account and check their account balance.
Checking account balance
Secondary school pupils can also check their account balance using the revaluation unit in school.
