Pinning of the tartan
This tradition welcomes one partner into the other’s clan.
You will need:
- a piece of clan tartan (rosette or sash)
- a clan badge or pin
What to do:
- a family member pins the tartan to the partner’s outfit
- this can be done by the groom, a parent, or another family member
