1. Calling of the Roll Apologies for Absence

Members are asked to consider whether they have an interest to declare in relation to any item on the agenda for this meeting.  Any Member making a declaration of interest should indicate whether it is a financial or non-financial interest and include some information on the nature of the interest.  Advice may be sought from officers prior to the meeting taking place.

3. Return to School Update

There will be a verbal update from the Executive Chief Officer, Education & Learning on the plans and preparations for schools reopening.

4. COVID-19 Response

a) The Highland Council

There will be a presentation by the Inverness City Area Manager on the Highland Council response.

b) Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE)

Rhona Fraser, Head of Strengthening Communities and Regional Development, HIE Inner Moray Firth Area Team will be in attendance.

c) Highland Third Sector Interface
An Treas Roinn

Mhairi Wylie, Chief Officer, and Leah Ganley, TSI Services Manager, Highland Third Sector Interface will be in attendance.

5.    City and Area Recovery Plan 
Plana Ath-shlànachaidh Baile agus Sgìre

A joint update will be provided by the Head of Development and Regeneration and the Inverness City Area Manager on the initial work of the City and Area Recovery Group which was established by the Council’s Recovery Board in line with establishing links to areas across Highland. 

The Committee is invited to:-

i.    agree the membership of the City and Area Recovery Group as follows:-
Independent (4) – Miss J Campbell, Mrs M Davidson, Mr G Ross and Mr J Gray (Labour);
SNP (3) – Ms E Roddick, Mr B Boyd, and to be announced;
Liberal Democrat (2) Mrs T Robertson and Mr A Graham; and
Scottish Conservative (2) – Mrs I Mackenzie and Mr A Jarvie.

ii.    comment on the presentation and agree to support the priorities identified, noting that further suggestions for consideration by the Recovery Group would be welcomed; and
iii.    note that minutes from the Group meetings will be submitted to the Recovery Board in the first instance and to the next appropriate meeting of the City of Inverness Area Committee for noting.
