Nature Restoration Fund

How to apply

The 2026-27 Highland Nature Restoration Fund Community Grants Programme is now open. Applications will be assessed on a rolling basis.

The Nature Restoration Fund is for capital projects only.

Grant awards range from a minimum of £2,000 to a maximum of £25,000.

An intervention rate of up to 100% is possible. However, we expect to see a good level of in-kind contribution.
