Street naming and numbering, and property addresses
We manage:
- naming new streets
- numbering properties
- registering new or existing addresses
- renaming or renumbering properties when needed
We assign all parts of an address except the postcode.
Royal Mail assigns postcodes, and we work with them when a new postcode is needed.
Check if your address is registered with Royal Mail
You must check whether your address appears on the Royal Mail website before submitting the Change of House Name or Number form.
If your house is not on the Royal Mail website, then please complete the Register an Address Form.
Royal Mail will only update its database after we tell them about a new or changed address.
