Integrated Housing Delivery Service
We have agreed a number of initiatives to help address the Housing Challenge and support the delivery of the projected 24,000 houses needed in the Highlands over the next 10 years.
What the service offers
If you are applying for planning permission for housing, you can request a roundtable meeting with senior Council staff to discuss any issues or delays affecting your application.
This service is called the Integrated Housing Delivery Service. It gives you the opportunity to:
- raise concerns that have not been resolved by your case officer.
- work collaboratively to find solutions
- speak directly with senior staff and key internal consultees such as Transport Planning, the Flood Risk Management Team and Environmental Health
Who can request this service
You can request a meeting if:
- you have a valid planning application for 10 or more homes
- your application is facing delays
- you believe a discussion could help resolve the issue
Meetings are available for 30 or 60 minutes. There is no fee for this service.
