Charging bands for different group types
When hiring facilities at a school, how much you pay will depend on the type of group you are looking to hire the venue for. Group types are organised into 'Bands', which determine the charge.
Band A
This includes:
- Sporting
- Social
- Political and religious activities
- Musical competitions
- Brownies, Guides or Scout groups
- Blood donors
Band B
This includes:
- Instructed sporting or educational activities
- Elections
- Unlicensed ceilidhs and dances
- Weddings
Band C
Commercial organisations for profit-making activities, including:
- Instruction
- Dance
- Events
- Sales
- Spectator events
Pricing for commercial organisations will be provided on application.
Special and large-scale events
Pricing for special or large-scale events will be provided on application.
