If you no longer operate your taxi or PHC
If you are no longer operating your taxi or private hire car you should email the licensing team to confirm this in writing and then return the licence and plate to your local licensing office.
If either your taxi or PHC operator’s licence or your taxi or PHC driver’s licence has expired, and you have not renewed, you must return your:
- licences
- plate
- ID badge
These items should be returned to your local licensing office with 28 days.
