Report illegal sales of age-restricted products
It is illegal to sell age-restricted products to anyone under the legal age. These include:
- cigarettes and tobacco
- fireworks
- alcohol
- vapes
- knives
- lottery tickets
If a trader sells these products to someone underage, they could be fined or prosecuted.
Report a trader
If you think someone is selling age-restricted products to young people, let us know by reporting the matter to Consumer Advice Scotland.
We take all reports seriously and may investigate or carry out test purchases.
